Leviathan is an anime adaptation based on the book series written by Scott Westerfeld and illustrated by Keith Thompson. It is a collaboration between Qubic Pictures and Orange (Trigun Stampede, BEASTARS, Land of the Lustrous.)

Leviathan will be released on July 10 2025, only on Netflix.

Set in 1914, just before World War I, the story follows a fugitive prince and a girl disguised as a boy, who meet aboard a bio-engineered airship named the HMS Leviathan. Their journey together has the potential to alter the course of history.

The series promises a blend of action, imaginative world-building, and compelling characters.
